Hi,
I would like to verify if the computer is in domain. Where is the shared files you want to set offline? If you shared files on your laptop, the offline
files should be enabled from the clients which accessing the shared files.
To enable Offline files, please check the following settings on the clients.
1. Sync Center -> Manage offline files -> Enable offline files.
2. Services -> enable Offline files -> Start the service.
After that, let the clients restart the computer and access shared files, right click them and check if Offline option is available.

Dear Niki,
My laptop is in a domain as also are the other laptops. The shared folder I would like to set offline is on my laptop.
I tried both options descripted above but it doesn’t. I also tried the options descripted on the article "http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Working-with-network-files-when-you-are-offline"
The point is that, the “always available online” option is not visible in my laptop and in two other two users/ laptop where the the
option is visible there are problems with the offline option and the synch

Ok... this was annoying me too. On fresh installs I couldn't get it to work for any user on a PC that had windows 7 Pro. the "Always Available offline" was missing from the context menu. Even for admins. So I figured it had to be a system
issue. I compared context menu registry keys from one PC to the other and found the only difference was a missing "{474C98EE-CF3D-41f5-80E3-4AAB0AB04301}" key under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFileSystemObjects\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers. I added this
key and without even a reboot, it was available. I hope this helps someone else out.
